Raising Capital For Early Exit Companies
"Shawn, It seems like a great idea for a founder or majority shareholder. The only drawback I can see is that seeing a founder or majority shareholder, or even just someone with a great deal of assets in the company, is the effect that it would have on shareholder and investor confidence. It could start a flood of people getting out, and seeing the big guys bail could affect the confidence of potential new investors. Yoni"Social Media Blues
"Pat, It's called "burnout" and it is a very normal occurrence. It happens in business, it happens in a marriage and it happens in writing. It is a symptom of having to do something when you don't want to do something. There are some people who blog every day...as a professional writer myself, i could NEVER sustain that pace or pressure to produce. Perhaps cutting back would help. But get started today. The longer we put things off, the harder is to jump back in!"25 Characteristics of Highly Effective Social Media Campaigns
"Great post Kwame! Your articles contain great tips and advice. One bit of advice...you tend to post your articles a bit late. The main voting usually takes place several hours ago. If you are able to post five or six hours back from this time, you might find that your article is viewed more. Just a tip. Anyway, as usual from you...Great Stuff! "Kwame, I'm at GMT +2. I usually submit around 11:00-14:00. The eralier in the day is usually better. there is quite a bit of voting throughout the early hors and then there is a big wave of voting from around 16:00-19:00 (my time-GMT+2). After that, voting pretty much stops and any articles end up on page 2, 3, 4 or 5 by the time voting resumes the next day. Then they get lost in those back pages. It's good to post in the early to mid morning. Yoni"Subscribe

"Sarah, Thanks so much for your feedback! In this incredibly fast paced biz-world, a screw up is to be expected from time to time. Admitting it is the tough first step, how we deal with it is the next. Your manager was right: it is a golden opportunity to demonstrate who we are. All the best, Yoni"
