Twitter shuts down Vine, reduces headcount

Twitter is shutting off its social media video-sharing app and platform Vine as one of the attempts to reduce its staff and expenses. The social network stated that the Vine mobile app would be discontinued “in the coming months”.

It is a bit of a bummer that Twitter is shutting down Vine. I have done some videos and enjoyed the service. You could do similar videos with Instagram photo service. My favorite social media tool is Twitter, so I hope that they will be back on track soon...
