Personally I no longer cold call - mainly because I am not good at it. However about 10 years ago I was doing cold calls and doing them very well. Now if I have to do a sales call it has to be a warm lead or there is just no point. But that is for me personally.

I think there is definitely still a place for cold calling but they have to be good and not the pushy sales type which puts people off.

Social media has definitely taken over a lot in getting leads but then the cold calls could maybe be called lukewarm calls.
