If you go onto a forum like DigitalPoint or WarriorForum, the sites are flooded with link buying, link exchanges, people paying for email lists etc. Hopefully website owners become better educated and start looking for real fixes, and implement better, legitimate methods to receive search results. Like anything, it takes time for business owners to understand the ins and outs of the internet. Hopefully along the way, the honest marketers can reach and educate a larger proportion of the online business community. "Good article Jason. Google Analytics definitely helps to examine your bounce rate. I think it's important to notice as well the pages the majority of visitors bounce or exit from. For us, we have blog readers who are not looking for our services. They read and then "bounce" leading to a higher bounce rate than we would like, but we realize why they're on our site, so it's ok with us. The people who enter via organic search or directly are less likely to bounce because they came for our services...hopefully. Glad you included a video with your post, it's always a great addition.
