Accommodating Transgender Employees
"Wow...actually, this is the first such article I've seen posted to BizSugar, and really it's something no one seems to consider much. I mean, I haven't really heard it discussed in the segment of the small business community of which I am part...however I think it's a tremendously important subject, especially now as the world, particularly American society, is beginning to change its views on GLBT people, gay marriage, etc. It may be uncomfortable for some straight people to deal with transgendered or androgynous people or openly gay or lesbian people in the workplace, but their comfort level hardly trumps the civil rights of members of the GLBT community. Refreshing post, and thanks for putting the link on BizSugar!"5 Easy Ways to Rekindle the Passion for Your Business
"Hi Ellen, Everybody needs their batteries recharged from time to time. It can be great to reconnect with the passion that made you start your business in the first place. But it can also be a good idea to think of how your business has grown and where you want it to go in the future. This will energize you for the new challenges ahead."4 Ways to Make Your Employees Smile
"Ashley, it's amazing to me how simple these measures are to take, and yet it seems that so few employers bother. Every time a business fails to take its employees into consideration, they miss an opportunity not only to encourage and retain talent, but to differentiate themselves as employers to attract the best talent. Seems a shame. Great post, and thanks for sharing!"Three ways to use LinkedIn to grow your business
"Hi Lori, First, thanks so much for sharing your great post with the BizSugar community. It really is appreciated. I think many people underestimate just the sheer volume of traffic and activity you can see come to your Website just by engaging with others regularly on LinkedIn. LinkedIn groups are an excellent source of targeted traffic, but, of course, regular updates on your profile page will also keep you on the radar with all the members of your network. "Business Growth With A Simple Idea | M4B Marketing
"Hi Susan, I kind of feel like a lot of small business owners a.) look to reinvent the wheel by patterning their businesses too much after competitors already in the market and b.) over think their products and services making them too complicated when a much simpler solution will do and be much easier to market. Often solving a unique problem for customers also solves your marketing problem giving you instant buzz. Why fight it?!"5 Reasons to Hire Out-of-Work Journalists for Content Marketing
"Hi Kasey, Great article, but I can only wish that the prospects for these journalists were better. It's difficult for someone who held a Managing Editor's position and supported a family to go to copy writing pay. Forget the fact that the quality of writing far surpasses what is common on many blogs...a lot of people looking for such content can't really seem to distinguish a quality product from one cranked out by an inexperienced blogger, and so are not willing to pay decently. I wish more people would read your article to realize that they get what they pay for, and for just a reasonable amount they can get awesome copy. Thanks for the great post!"Subscribe
