"Industry specific experience is a question I have been asked in the past and have never seen the relevance. I can think of very limited situations in which it would be useful. There may be a particular competitive environment in a niche or you may have linking opportunities that you are already aware of I suppose. For the most part I see the relationship as a client understanding their business and market and the SEO understanding SEO. Working together, you get a well thought out strategy. Interestingly, if I was already working in somebody's industry, I probably wouldn't take them on because of conflicts of interest. I wonder how industry specific SEOs deall with this?"Subscribe
