"Nice post Jackie Banter is good and personality is good and there is no doubt that a little bit of humour is good. Boring is bad. So I think I agree with the general thrust of your post. Interestingly, if people start sharing posts about their cats or “funny stuff” I will likely loose all interest in them. I prefer to follow single issue accounts. I don’t care about the daily challenges of those I follow. I absolutely don’t want to know about their politics. And yet, like you I think that the people I follow should be themselves. It’s a difficult circle to square and I’m for sure no social networking expert. It’s worth thinking about though because I have read various research stating that most people prefer to follow single issue accounts. (can’t find it right now unfortunately) P.S. Great Title. "It's astonishing how many people don't get this. If you need content to get those search engine rankings it needs to be content, not factory generated semi-spam produced by someone who can't spell or speak the language and knows nothing about your subject. To be fair, I am sure there are plenty of people "overseas" who can produce quality work. And there are certainly plenty of us online that can neither write nor spell in our first language.
