How To Avoid Getting Scammed By Fake Tax Relief Services
"Hi Mike. When the commercial says: "I owed the IRS $125,000.00, but Squeamy Ellis* got it down to only 75 cents!!!", I figured something was up. (Also, the customer service rep in the commercial asks the "mark" to sit down before they tell them how much they're going to save.) Duncan *(Squeamy Ellis was the last of the 3 guys Lon Chaney junior, as "The Indestructible Man" set out to avenge for turning him in.)"So, who likes change?
"Very Good, Coach! "Ahhh, yes - the old Enthalpy versus Entropy bit!" (to put it like Maxwell Smart* on "Get Smart", '65-'70). Duncan *played by comic Don Adams - this bit, and many others used in the show (like " 'Missed it by That much!", or "Would you believe?") were shtick from his stand-up act."5 Secrets To Sell More With Your Sales Copy
"Hi Denise. I've noticed that many of my mistakes are when I change a sentence around, or move it in a paragraph. I might leave in a (correctly spelled) word or phrase that doesn't fit the new sentence structure - because my mind doesn't pick it up. I see it in blogs once in a while, too. "Hi Irial. I trained a gal as a co-worker. She continued to ask how to handle routine problems (covered in basic training months before & reiterated every time any issue came up). She did this right up to her last day (17 months). Every time, I not only answered as to what to do, but explained the reasoning behind it so she could handle it on her own. I realized it was done so that if anything ever went wrong, she could say I (or any other co-worker) told her to do it that way. (We were all middle-aged.) The punchline: After she moved on, another gal who fully understood the situation (as she also had to feed her answers all day) confided that the one that left complained that I was always lecturing!!!! "I agree, Mariam - and yours is maybe one of a scant handful - out of well over 10,000 articles I've read - that address convenience. I know many people make buying decisions based on it - I could never figure out why it's so seldom addressed. Duncan"3 Reasons I Sometimes Skip Commenting on Your Blog
"Hi Brankica. I agree - the oldest comments should be at the top so we can read down & follow the thread. On BizSugar sometimes it can be difficult to find the right order (especially with multiple replies). I have to read how long ago they were left. Sometimes 2 or 3 are (say) "9 hours ago". Which order do I read them in then? Duncan"Who Fancies a Blog-Off?
"A "Blog-Off" sounds like a great idea, Paul. I purposely didn't leave a comment on your "Natural Talent" article because you had so much "scientific proof" that it seemed pointless. Let me address it now by simply saying I've seen it too many times to have even the slightest doubt that natural talent exists - there is absolutely no way to convince me otherwise. (See, it's pointless - but I mean it respectfully.) Duncan"How to Get More Twitter Followers and improve marketing
"Interesting, Tilen, but auto-following is fraught with hazards - spammers, porn & drug sites, and weirdos of all descriptions seek out those who auto-follow. When your name & face appear right above these abominations on your Twitter page, anyone actually looking will quickly develop a bad case of the heebee-jeebees. Yes, your numbers will go up, but at what cost to your reputation? If you think no looks at who others are following before following or allowing a follow, think again - I do, every time.
