Empire Avenue: Social Media CV or Farmville wannabe?
"Hi, thanks for asking and good question. I think that because this is very new and very Social Media focused, potential customers are very likely to be interested in the results. Feedback and referrals from clients will of course be included in the Empire Avenue mix, via Blogs and LinkedIn and Facebook, Twitter and YouTube content would also present the whole package available from the Social Media team or individual. As I say, it's a great Social Media CV. Thanks very much for commenting, best regards, Peter "How to test a Social Media guru! Hoverme Hover card.
"Thanks for your comment Adam and yes I think this at least offers people a chance to check! A lot of people. myself included, have been into marketing for years, I also helped with the design (aesthetics NOT the technical bits) on websites in the Dot Com era and I've designed web content and written copy and my development into social Media seemed a natural progression. I don't see anyone as an all knowing guru, there's just too much to know!! We all have our strengths and if we combine those strengths with other people we make some great teams, that's what I'm working on right now!! To me the beauty of Blogs and Blogging is that people can do a lot of it themselves!! Best regards, Peter "How to test a Social Media guru! Hoverme Hover card.
"Thank you very much! I wish, the good thing about the Seth action figure is head didn't have any hair issues! I was very pleased too that upon my suggestion Ed Orcutt applied the same technology to Empire Avenue. The guy's amazing, he made the app work on Empire Avenue between Tweets. It took him about 2 minutes! Hence my very excited post the next day! Some days you've just got to be amazed at Social Media! Thanks for the comment!! Have a great weekend! "Thanks very much for the positive comments! This started as a one off and has grown into something much bigger!! Construction can be a very serious affair, especially since the 'downturn' (freefall!) so to have fun now and there, I hope, is good for everyone! Thanks a lot, take it easy, all the best, Peter "Subscribe
Is Blackberry the catalyst for social media riots? The MarketingM8 blog…
"So far, yes. They are saying it's private! BUT, we shall see what the discussions will achieve. 'The Guardian says that RIM could be compelled to release the information on who sent out the messages but it could say that the encryption means it can’t really unscramble the real messages. We’ve seen RIM say this when BlackBerry was under fire in multiple countries for alleged security concerns.' We shall see! "
