Your Comments Suck and I Don’t Want Them: A Manifesto
"Tristan, I have to admit that I was very firmly in the corner of not commenting as a strategy, but then you said this: "We all strategically blog, so why wouldn't we strategically comment? The key, though, is to provide value in your comments." I admit I don't have a good response for this point. I am now seeing your side more clearly. I guess as long as there is value and the person really gives constructive feedback, it can't be a bad thing. Rivkah"How much is social media really changing the mind set of Genertaion Y?
"David, I'm just not sure how much time that leaves for homework and studying, or actually being outdoors. My neices and nephews are pale from not leaving the house. It's always in front of the computer. They are zombies. Rivkah"Are Free and Hope Your Marketing Strategies?
"Susan, My Yoni, when he first became a freelancer did this to build his portfolio. He would find a website that needed better content and not even consult with the owner. He would make a word document with reworded content and send a sample of it to the owner saying this is what your website could look like. He did this four times and three of the owners bit and paid him and used the new content. As you say working for free and hoping is bad but as a freelancer without a portfolio and customer base he was forced to use a desperate tactic. It worked! Rivkah P.S. Yoni is away for most of the day but I'll tell him later that you posted your article"The R Word! – Sales eXchange – 89 - The Pipeline
"I think anyone who uses the word "Retarded" to describe human behavior is opening up a can of worms and inviting criticism. There was a post here a while back asking if workers were like slaves. There was a great response about the cruelties of slavery. It was a bad analogy. I also read a post a while back (not on Biz Sugar) asking "is your boss a Hitler?" Again, VERY bad analogy. You have to be careful what you say, it's not PC, it's common sense. Duncan, there is a unit of the IDF that started out as a pilot program and is now in full swing. People with Down's Syndrome were recruited to participate in supply and logistics units doing things like shipping, packing rations and supplies etc. It has turned out very well and their work is hardly retarded. You are right, some people don't get it! Rivkah"Subscribe
How To Change The (Franchise) World (The Franchise King Blog)
"King, I think it is very important to weed through candidates. By handing a franchise to anyone with the money your risk them failing and dragging down the name. Get back on Foxnews, my husband and I love watching you! Rivkah"
