6 Things Your Blog May Do That We All Hate
"Hannah, Fantastic post here. You brought out several valid points. I agree with not having an ad frenzy on your site. I used to do this when I first started blogging years ago, and it definitely did not work for me, lol. Luckily since then I've wised up quite a bit and redesigned my entire blog. Now my layout is clean and crisp where the focus is my content. As far as blog popups are concerned, I would have to say that having these depends on the purpose of your blog. I currently have a popup on my blog and it serves its purpose extremely well. Yes, I can understand that this can be annoying, however, the main purpose of my blog is to build my subscriber list. As of right now, my blog popup converts the highest for me with achieving this goal, so to do away with it wouldn't make any sense to me. "Fantastic post my friend! Very well written and you gave some great tips. This is exactly where most marketers drop the ball. They'll focus on driving traffic and building their list, and forget all about the living breathing human behind the email. I've put an email in my autoresponder series for the specific purpose of truly getting to know the people on my list. I share a bit of personal info about my self and I ask them to share some things with me about themselves. I've actually gotten quite a few responses of people who were eager to open up to me and appreciated me asking about them. This is what true relationship marketing is all about. Just because we're internet marketers and we spend the majority of our days sitting in front of a computer, doesn't mean we have to be cold with our marketing. Thanks for sharing this post Terrance. I appreciate it. Ti"What People Can Tell About Your Business By Your Facebook Page
"Hi Lorna, This is a very informative post. You certainly can tell quite a bit about a business or person by their Facebook page. I especially agree with the point you mad about not responding to comments. I make it a ritual to go in everyday and respond to every single comment that I get on my Facebook page, mention on Twitter, and comment that I get to my blog posts. This is one of the most important things that will set you apart from your competitors, going that extra mile and truly engaging with everyone who follows you. I really enjoyed reading your post. Thanks for giving your insights and sharing this on BizSugar.com. I appreciate it! Ti "4 Hidden Traffic Tips to Spike Your Traffic Stats
"That's great that you're already implementing some of these methods. They've certainly proven to be a great help to boost my traffic and I've noticed a significant increase in my backlinks and a decrease in my alexa ranking, which is always a plus. Thanks for checking out my post and commenting. I appreciate it! Ti"4 Hidden Traffic Tips to Spike Your Traffic Stats
"Hi Lyceum, I'm not sure of an "exact formula" for blog commenting that decreases your Alexa ranking. I do that that blog commenting is great for getting more backlinks to your site. The more links you get to your site may have to do with a decrease in Alexa ranking, but I can't say for sure. What I can tell you though is that commenting is terrific for driving traffic, as I mentioned in this post. I focus more on commenting to build relationships with other bloggers and to drive traffic more so than the backlinks - they're just a by product that happens to work in your favor. Thanks for dropping by and commenting. I appreciate it! Ti"4 Hidden Traffic Tips to Spike Your Traffic Stats

Age Is Just a Number: Who Should Run Your Social Media Accounts?
"I totally agree with this post, very well written. I don't believe that age has anything to do with how well someone can manage a social media campaign. To even say that is pure discrimination in my book. In general a person must have good people skills and know how to socially engage on behalf of your company to do well in social media. I'm 26. I run my own blog and do all of my own social media engagement and I think I do quite well. I know plenty of other business owners who do their own social media too and do just as well and I do. It's not because of our ages, it's because we understand our vision for our businesses that allows us to be successful in social media. Thanks for sharing your insights on this topic and sharing it on BizSugar.com. I appreciate it! Ti"
