Two SEO Best Practices To Generate More Website Traffic
"Hi Reginald, Helpful tools here, but in my experience it's also important to have excellent content once your visitors get to the site. In other words, having great contract which gets visitors to stay longer on your site, dive deeper and then share that content with their networks is a kind of SEO of its own, isn't it? What do you think bloggers and webmasters can do to improve the quality of their content so that visitors will share with others and keep coming back for more."Are You Doing Social, Or Are You Being Social? - Jenn's Trends
"Jenn, I have no idea why people have so much difficulty simply talking! It's a basic human skill. I do think that time constraints enter in. My big question: is it better to spend a bit more time on some deep meaningful socialization, even if you don't hit maybe the number of comments you would like. Or is it better to keep those comments coming whether the insights you're sharing happen to be meaningful and insightful or not? I'm wondering if you could leave your thoughts in the comment section on BizSugar, because I'd really like to get this conversation out there."17 things we can learn about content marketing from pan handlers
"Well, Brad, the title alone got my attention! I wonder though. Isn't there always a tension between being authentic and doing whatever it takes to stand apart? Check out this case study!
"Hi Cendrine, I think the problem with spam is not just that it's unwanted and rude. But at these levels it also becomes noise. Like the annoying updates you get sometimes from websites you've forgotten to unsubscribe to. You couldn't pay attention if you wanted to. You're so preoccupied with getting rid of it. So that nothing that is being said has a remote chance of catching your eye...not even if at some point it became insightful."Social Media Management: 3 ways to uncover and boost ROI
"Hi Jayden, Though some have certainly seen a benefit, its amazing how many businesses have not and yet go right on using social media. Is it your sense these businesses really aren't getting any benefit or simply that they don't know how to properly measure the benefit the receive? Love to have you share your thoughts in the comment section on BizSugar where our whole community can benefit. "Business Buyers: Finding the Perfect Match When Selling Your Business
"Hi Holly, I always feel like there should be a LOT more information out there on selling businesses. Because I think many business owners and those starting a business often have little or no clue about planning for an exit strategy. My question is, what do you think is the biggest misconception out there about selling a business? I'd be thrilled for you to share your thoughts in the comment section on the BizSugar community so that all our members could get the benefit of your thoughts on this."GoDaddy Acquires Web Hosting Service Media Temple
"Hi Martin, BizSugar's sister site, Small Business Trends, has a post on this too. Media Temple hosts for some very big companies like the Wall Street Journal, but smaller businesses use their services too. Essentially, the company appeals to a much more technical Web developer audience than GoDaddy has traditionally. And that seems to be the audience GoDaddy hopes to court with this move. I suggest you read Anita Campbell's article as well for additional insight. "Customers Shop for Reasons… Not Things
"Hi Josh, I think this is true but with caveats. A fondness for traditional newspapers didn't save the newspaper industry and a love of the shopping experience (in terms of getting out and about) hasn't stopped the takeoff of online shopping. You could, I suppose, make the argument that online shopping fulfills the desire many have to avoid crowds and stress and remain in the comfort of our own homes. But even the big box trend that ate into the profits of smaller stores before the online shopping boom pretty clearly had a pragmatic component. To get things at the lowest price possible. I'm not saying shoppers don't have other motives and certainly not saying entrepreneurs should compete on price only. I'm only suggesting pragmatic motives can't be ignored. Thoughts?"Subscribe
The Rise Of Selfies [INFOGRAPHIC]
"Hi Irfan, Interesting stat about Oprah. It seems like selfie's, or at least self-portraits, are important in social media mainly because people like to know who they are dealing with. I think this might be even more the case in business. Do you see use of selfies in social media as a good or bad way to establish a personal presence? "
