Why Is The Customer Always Right?
"Hi Tori, I'd say the customer is right up to a point. If there were no jerks, no people mad at the world, no people having a really bad day looking for someone to take it out on - if human nature wasn't what it sometimes sadly is - then the customer is always right. businessavante"The Unethical Side of Web Directory Business
"Hi Ivan, I don't see an ethical issue in reporting a scam to google. Reporting it is for the general good of everyone on the web. If one was repeatedly to only report competitors that scam, the issue is self-serving for the individual reporting it, but everyone (except the scammer) still wins. Would you agree that reporting a scam that had no bearing at all on your personal business presents no ethical issue? I had a friend who was very intelligent (he's a lawyer now). In high school he played football. All the sudden he started to act "dumb" because he thought it was expected. I told him to knock-off the dumb act - you're NOT dumb! Quit acting like it! He did, at least in the neighborhood. I suspect he kept it up w/the team for appearance' sake. businessavante"Subscribe
Doing The Hours
"Hi Fred, It's obvious from the picture that at 18 Franz Joseph already looked like an old man - likely from working to exhaustion every day. (I can see an emperor, or president working like that - every president in my lifetime ages very fast - after 2 years the difference in their appearance is shocking. The stress of maintaining the free world...) businessavante "
