"Tibor: You learn from the mistakes! ;) I did a similar thing and misspelled a potential customer's name. But in the retrospect, I turned out that she had "given" me a new name and I had sent out a default standardized inquiry to several people and mixed up us. I asked her if the meant person "X" because the field I am working in (social media), is well connected and we know each other! ;) I have now been thinking on how I should formulate my offer due to the fact that one of my "competitors" is a friend and I don't want to have this negotiation process. I am an experienced purchaser, so I know how it is to be at the other side of the table! ;)"
