Twitter: The Emperor's New Clothes?
" While I agree with you that Twitter should not be used by every business, I believe it's important to ensure that you are listening on there at least. As a promotional tool, I think it's limited vs. Facebook. As a networking tool I think it's more effective than Linkedin, provided as you point out that the people you want to network with are on there. I also agree that Twitter is very time consuming, you need to spend time and I think this time needs to be invested in blocks rather than in small chunks. "Nice Bloggers Finish Last
"Hi Ivan, Great message but some people get confused. I think it's important to note that that unless your opinions and/or beliefs and well thought out, and backed up by something substantive - it's easy to spot or easy to get found out. "Very interesting post Frank, I was aware of gamification but from a far, but this post has been able to fill in some of the blanks for me. A recent example I liked comes from Marriott hotels who are using social gaming to help recruit new employees in locations around the world. Players have to carry out tasks that reflect what happens in a real hotel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNv8K8lGWsE&feature=player_embedded"Employing People With Disabilities: A Manager's Guide

Easy Prey For Aggressive Buyers?
"Some great points here! I agree that salespeople need to work much harder to understand the buyer's business, market, products, customers and language. Try to get inside the head of the buyer, see the world from their vantage point and with their eyes."
