"Susan, Great article! Sorry about the delay as I’m playing doctor to a sick wife today… You are right on the mark about this. Most people think what services can I add? I’m guilty! I think the writing profession trumps all others in terms of the amount of services which can be provided. There are literally hundreds. It can be confusing especially in terms of pricing! "Hello Susan, I didn’t see an update on your website earlier, so I didn’t think your were posting today. What a pleasant surprise to see a new one! You are 100% correct about recommendations and referrals. It is a great way to tell others about great products and services. And doing so always seems to come back in a good way. I have people that are looking for a graphic artist. I send them to my graphic artist friend who did a great job for me. Now when he has clients who needs a writer he sends them to me. It’s about good will, networking and mutuality! Once however, I recommended someone who was a friend without really knowing her capabilities. She did a lousy job for a cleint of mine. "Sarah, Great article which speaks volumes on the need for personalization and individualized attention. I bought a "registry cleaner" which is supposed to make a computer run faster. It didn't...ever! I wrote to the company for months expressing my dismay. All I ever got were form emails saying "We are pleased that you are satisfied with our product." I have visited numerous forums discussing this company. This is apparently their standard and ONLY response. Yoni"Subscribe
