Hi Shawn, Yes, networking sometimes I wonder if the content you put out on the different social media platforms represent the beams and structure of the house and the networking represents the walls that actually make it a house to live in. It's a shame to see so many businesses have a hard time with the networking though. With the questions of who should do it and what should they be allowed to say. "
Another reason why we should watch this area of the world closely is with the recent ICANN decision to proceed with non-latin language domain names. I have a video on my Posterous page which shows just how much this will impact the countries concerned with this change. It is a huge step for them... and I'm sure this will effect all of their participation online, including social media. It's just a question of time. http://posterous.cindyking.biz/international-domains"
There are lots of blogging lists out there, but I spent time reading through all of these. clicking through several links I found Chris Brogan's linkbait strategy of creating lists and asking people to publish and improve them. There are some great suggestions here. "
Now wouldn't that be fun "driving a souped-up party van from house to house, as fun-frenzied kids scramble inside to play Xbox and Wii, and jump at the chance to roll around in giant, child-sized hamster balls". Sounds like there all sorts of franchises out there. Definitely worth looking into."
Yes, but I'm still working through a series of articles to hone great trust building skills in cross-cultural communication... and there are some key differences even when you usually get things right with people around you. Respect is such a delicate thing, isn't it?"
I agree with you Shawn. And if anyone has difficulties with this, then I think there other issues to consider: - What exactly are you putting online? If it is so unique and valuable, it's not the copiers I would be worried about, but the people who could actually improve on what you've put up and give a better offer to your clients."
