Content Marketing Challenge: Create Content or Die - Online Marketing Blog
"It should also be pointed out that this content needs to be: --targeted --useful --interesting Anyone involved in blogging for any length of time can tell the story of what unfocused, non-relevant content will do to your traffic and SEO...speaking of which, I know of a blog this topic would be perfect for. Thanks for the link."Awesome Web Resource For Entrepreneurs - Shoeboxed
"David, Sounds like a great idea. I suppose the one question is always information security. This, of course, is the question people always ask when discussing digitalizing their records online. Of course, backing up records off site is something people have been doing for quite sometime and often with outside companies. (And who doesn't have an accountant who has access to all your business records?) I guess the question is, how is security handled?"Why A Small Business Needs A Technology Roadmap | Five Forces
"Take out the word technology and replace the word tool when describing what a small business may need to be more productive. Don't use a new technology simply because it is the latest thing. See first whether or how it can help your business."If Clients Are Buying the Milk, Don't Give Away the Cow!
"Not sure I'm totally in your corner here, Yonatan. I know how to brew my own coffee, but I may still go to a cafe to soak up the atmosphere. Just because I know how to do something doesn't mean I won't pay someone else to do it...especially if I haven't got the time. I think the real danger is that when you share complete how-to tips you are more likely to attract do-it-yourselfers to your blog or Website. These folks are unlikely to buy from you because their whole goal is to learn how to do things themselves. People who want to hire you to do something may already know how to do it themselves, so they don't need you to explain everything just to explain enough so that they know you know what you're doing. It's a question of talking to the right audience, not giving away the cow."Stop Demotivating, Before You Start Motivating | Leadership IQ
"Great post and rings true for anyone whose been on either side of this issue. Often there is so much wrong with a company's culture that looking for performance improvements without examining how to correct problems is a waste of resources and of everyone's time."Business planning - is it just a paper exercise? | Transforming your Business
"The reason so many people dislike business plans is that so few see any practical use in them. And that, unfortunately, has a lot to do with how they are generally used, as something thrown together for your SCORE or SBA adviser in the hopes of finding some kind of funding to start your business. When that funding doesn't materialize, the business plan is deemed a waste of time and promptly tossed in the waste can. But, of course, business plans don't need to be stuffy, formal documents typed in a format prescribed by your local small business adviser to be effective. Make them informal tools used to guide your business and you will find them much more helpful."Subscribe

Announce your age publicly and turn into a fund raiser
"It's a healthy way to look at age certainly but maybe still an unfortunate sign of the times that people were shocked a woman the age of 40 could look so youthful. I'm hoping we will reach a time when being honest about age is not only encouraged but irrelevant in evaluating a person's contributions and abilities."
