"First, I agree with Shepherd, and will add that it seems like a majority of small business entrepreneurs I read on BizSugar seem to love the challenge - their work is the realization of their passion. I can't speak for anyone, but I sense that many of them would get bored very quickly doing nothing but golfing or sipping champagne on an island all day. "I only wish there were Clear Standards. The small community hospital where I worked had several employee guideline manuals to sign-off on. One younger gal mistakenly thought that meant the hospital had to follow their own guidelines - like it was law. When we were gobbled up by the huge hospital nearby, the 2nd page of their manual flat-out said they didn't have to deal w/all employees equally - they could pick & choose when to enforce their guidelines. "Interesting, but in war destruction Means destruction - death on an unimaginable scale, physical destruction of targets, and taking the objective. Using semantics, one could use very flowery words but still intend to ruin your competitor's business. Civility is nice - very important in day-to-day life, but it's the true intent behind it that matters even more. "Hi Elli! I should clarify that personally I have no problem with everyone winning. "I totally agree. What I don't get is why they think it's OK in the 1st place. It's telling me that they think their readers must be pretty stupid, and as a reader I resent it. "I agree, Yoni! It won't be long till everything that's hot now is as "5 minutes ago" as my old Atari 400 "super computer". It came w/16k, but I had it "bumped up" to an unbelievable 64k!!! Storage was on audio cassettes, and the modem needed a phone receiver. I think even the tube powered Univac kicked its ass. businessavante"Subscribe
