"Just reading blogs I've noticed 2 of the things you mentioned - spammers who take keyword stuffing to ridiculous levels (20-30 repeats in a row), and a blog with a black background that has not totally hidden writing blended-in. "From '66-'69 "Cream" was one of my favorite bands - one of the original "power trios", along with the "Jimi Hendrix Experience". Cream did psychedelic blues, and featured 3 of the best instrumentalists in their day: Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, and Ginger Baker. "I don't follow basketball (never did) but I DO like your analogy. Keep in mind some places (like Cleeb'm - Cleveland to non-locals) is quite obviously cursed vis-a-vis sports franchises. They could have great players (which they normally trade as soon as they get good - so they won't win?), young players - it doesn't matter one teeny little bit. They'll stink up the arena/field no matter who the players are. After the losses pile up & they're way under .500, the media ask the coaches/managers about "building" - Each and Every Year! Building What?-(another losing team/season is the correct answer). I wouldn't want to be a business compared to Cleeb'm sports! Mistake Math - Why We're Valuing Facebook Fans All Wrong
"Good point about "liking" on FaceBook - it requires almost no thought or effort, and is utterly meaningless as a "metric". I always thought of it as a soft, well-meant compliment rather than as something that ranks people. businessavante"
