Stop Reading and Take Action
"Susan, Great post! You are so right about embarking on a positive course of action! Th spreadsheet is a fantastic idea and one which I need to take advantage of. Instead, I put all of my "to-dos" on little pieces of paper, half of which get lost in the washing machine. It's also critical what you said about periodic checks to see what needs to be done, what is important (and what can wait or no longer seems important!) As always, great advice from you which i will strive to implement into my business plan. Thanks!! "Susan, Good morning! Or is it already afternoon or evening where you are?? Thanks for your wonderful and VALUED feedback and comments! I didn't even think of the colors being part of the brand. Thanks, this is something I need to consider. I look forward to reading your new post in just a few short minutes. All the best and have a great day "Down Under!" "Shep, Thanks for your kindness! FYI: I used to go with the standard black/white blog and what I do now has been a long evolutionary process. I just think that as I show USA Today has done, reading should and can be an overall experience for the senses. Thanks for your feedback! "Thank you for your kind remarks. It made so much sense when I initially thought about it. Actually the impetus was several months back when I saw a survey conducted for USA Today readers; 60 percent (give or take) stated that the number 1 reason they had for reading the paper were the graphics, charts and unique color photos. It was really at that point that I started trying to spice up my blog. The feedback from readers has been amazing. Thanks for your kindness, Yonatan"Subscribe
Marketing Lessons From a Blast From the Past
"Susan, Great post! Your are indeed right. A video, print ad, or any other form of advertising can be spot-on, but if the product itself is not of high enough quality to back up the ad...all is for naught! Breaking peoples' expectations somehow seems worse than giving them no expectations at all. Anyhow, I hope you have a wonderful, fulfilling, healthy day! I will be spending the next hour or so working in our bomb shelter (our extra bedroom) as we have a national security drill this morning. Air raid sirens will begin wailing in a few minutes. Oh, the fun of living in the Middle East never ends :( Regards, Yoni"
