Watching the Competition Will Suck You Dry
"Very nice Jackie and I love the new layout. Watching the competition can indeed suck you dry...unless you are... ...my sister's boyfriend back in the late 70s used to have a '67 Camaro SS with a big-block 454 engine and dual 4-barrell carbs. Nothing in town could touch it. Rob used to love looking at anyone who used to challenge him to a stop-light to stop-light drag race in his rearview mirror. The icing on the cake was the bumber-sticker that said "EAT MY DUST!!!" Very few of us in business can see everyone in the rearview mirror. We must all, at least sometimes, eat other people's dust! "Duncan and Canadaone: Hee-hee. Hah-hah! Sorry, I'm a a jerk... ...I wouldn't know...here in Jerusalem we are enjoying the coolest summer in living memory. Though we've had some hot days as of late, the days have been nice and cool. The evenings have required a jacket or sweater. And the nights? Better grab an extra blanket. Considering summer here is usually pretty darn brutal, I must say, this is great weather to be outside and perfect weather for getting work done. Are you able to compromise?
"Last one: The Yalta Conference (1945) where rather than go to war following WWII, FDR and "Uncle Joe" as he used to call Stalin, decided to carve up Europe like a turkey being readied for Thanksgiving Dinner. Sometimes it's better to fight than compromise."
