"I see your point, Rivkah - and remember a post some months ago that Did offend me, but it was from the point of view that an entrepreneur may feel 'enslaved' by their self-imposed work load. i.e. It was basically whining, and the use of the word slavery bothered me. Here, the "servitude" is not self-imposed, and the author isn't whining - but I agree that slavery is not a word to be used, or taken, lightly. "Interesting, Peter. Maybe Blackberry was just an unfortunate recipient of 'name recognition' - someone blurted it out, and it was repeated (i.e. it went viral), when it might just as well've been i-This or Motorola-that. Duncan"Decision fatigue is something we're all prone to
"Hi Carl. Judge Judy said the same thing once - the plaintiff & defendant better be careful, she hasn't had lunch yet and is irritable. (Given the way she ramps-up from 0-shouting in .0000001 seconds under normal conditions, I was expecting a real show.) Another time she told a young man she was the "Uber Mother". This "we should have completely equal spending so anyone/any city can win bit" (please read that in a high, whiny, nasal voice) is fine for Communist countries, but it's not our way. Duncan"Subscribe

"Eye-opening stuff, Gianni, and great examples. The U.S. has laws specifying what interns can & can't be asked to do - they can't be asked to do anything that directly OR indirectly leads to profit, for example. Does the law have teeth? I don't know. Duncan"
