Learn the Basics of Guest Blogging
"Ileane, Thanks so much for sharing this awesome post. Yep, guest blogging is becoming a major trend even though some people have been doing it for a while. The benefits can be pretty great too for both guest blogger and blog owner. If you're a new blogger just starting to build your own community, this can be a great way to start."Day 1 – Understanding What your Reader Wants to Read
"I think point number one is the most important...and probably the one most people forget. Telling visitors to your site about you probably won't interest them except for a little personal info. to put a human face on your company. The basic idea is to focus on what you can for them."Take This Job and Shove It! Thoughts on the Therapeutic Art of Burning Professional Bridges
"Not the only one unfortunately, Techguy. We've had a couple of instances with posts "stuck" at the threshold of moving to front. BizSugar has been through a couple of upgrades recently and every now and again there's a bit of a hiccup. Still working out a few bugs from the most recent one. Be patient and bear with us."How to Turn Your Ex-Employee into Your Worst Enemy
"Great post about the double edged sword of the social media revolution. Of course, customers who feel they have received inadequate service can be equally problematic. In a way though, while a headache to some small businesses, this brings a level of accountability that should help you build your brand if handled correctly."12 Email Marketing Tips For Small Business

It's true that small business people of all types must remember that a variety of techniques lead to success not just one magic elixir like social media or blogging to cure every ill. "Entrepreneurial Benevolence
"I like this idea, Ken, and it speaks to a trend I believe exists in entrepreneurs and small business leaders that is sometimes understated. Specifically, there are some motives for any venture that go beyond profit. I do think we should come up with a better term perhaps. The word "benevolence" conjures in my mind connotations of condescension. (Maybe it's just me?) How about "entrepreneurial conscience?" "Subscribe
Bootstrap for Slow-Growth or Raise Equity to Accelerate
"Of course, the bootstrap approach doesn't necessarily mean slow growth, Ken. I don't know the particulars of this specific business so maybe it is unwise to make a comment. However, I would argue that a bootstrapped business could grow quite rapidly, maybe more rapidly than a more funded firm. Why? simply put, a small bootstrapped entrepreneur can be more agile and maneuverable and without needing to check with investors can alter course to take advantages of new opportunities. This could be the key to very rapid growth. "
