Social Media Emerging Factor in Lead Generation
"Hi Bill, I like you post and I can't help but smile when I read it. Why? Because your advice for using social media is just good old-fashioned marketing. Social media is simply another tool and, as you rightly point out, just using the tool isn't going to get the result you need. "206 Productivity Tips for Working From Home
"Hi David, One thing I do to is to block out a specific time when all I do is write. I don't check email, Twitter, Facebook, answer the phone, read text messages or surf the 'net. I dedicate the core part of my day to writing. It helps. One other thing that works for me is getting rid of notification messages/tones on my computer. I don't need to have real-time updates when people email me or tweet me. I'll get to it when it makes sense to my schedule. Thanks for the exhaustive list. "How To Do a Simple Marketing Check Up
"Hi Susan, As I was reading this post, it occurred to me it goes hand-in-hand with another one you wrote about too many ideas and not enough action: (http://www.m4bmarketing.com/too-many-ideas-not-enough-action/) I know my customers suffer from the same thing. "Hi Yoni, I appreciate your candor in saying you have made mistakes with your clients. We all do, but it's something that isn't often written about. I had a very smart manager that maintained a screw-up was an opportunity to prove just how good your service really was. It's an odd viewpoint but he was right. Most customers complain because they want you to fix the mistake. If you do it in such a way that shows you care about their business and will make their problems a priority, you are usually rewarded with loyalty. No one expects perfection but they do expect to be dealt with fairly. Your mother's reaction to the $1.50 reimbursement is proof of that. I'd forgotten about letter writing campaigns. My own mother spearheaded a few of those herself. Sarah"One Magic Question That Returns Big Results
"Hi Susan, You're right about that. Not every customer has complex demands or big problems. Still, I think it's important to differentiate between a "want" and a "need". People will be more receptive to a marketing and sales message when they need something. It's much harder to get someone to invest in a "nice to have" product or service. Thanks for your insight and being the inspiration to this post!. Sarah"Subscribe
