Whether it is web design, SEO, development, or Social Media Marketing, clients hire you and then expect you to go and do your job. They want their consultant to design their site or get them to number 1 in Google or do the social media thing and they don't understand their role in making it happen. I can see why they think like that, it is totally understandable. It makes educating the client vital because without them understanding the role they have in making their business marketable they can't get the best results from any professional.
